Assalamualikom bhai did you do bathroom waterproofing before installing the tile and did you do waterproofing grouting it’s really important bhai I don’t do those know I’m suffering so badly.

Yes the bathrooms will be waterproof when finished. At the moment the waterproof grouting has not been carried out anywhere in the house. We are leaving the grouting till last as the grout will get dirty with works still carrying on.

Masha Allah, very nice, you should have laid rebars in the Utan before cementing, the ground work under CAN in future be subjected to movement which in turn cracks the cement, hopefully insha'Allah it does not happen.

Yh, we are doing this on the other half of the utan where vehicles will use frequently. They should have done this for the whole utan tbh. Sometimes they don't follow your instructions or get half the message 😕

Any plans to cover the void with SS above the gate on the front porch? The gap is significantly wide and could pose a security risk?

Yh, the void is going to be filled with more ss. The guys just haven't gotten around finishing it off.

I agree but it's something that needs to be done back home. For security and to keep unwanted guests away 😄. I think the main boundary gate would've been enough personally.

@@JMVlogsUKbhai it’s a very good thing you added the SS gate. God forbid, but if you didn’t have the ss gate and if you ever opened the main front door at night and there’s dakayth standing right outside the main door, you’d be openly exposed to all kind of dangers. At least now even if you open the front door, you have the first layer of security from the ss gate. You and family can also sit at night more safely on the porch with the ss gate being there. British people need to take extra extra precautions at all times in Bangladesh. Safety first then comes bari aesthetics lol

I try and give people the benefit of the doubt. I know exactly what you mean and it's a shame how people can behave knowing this world is temporary and we will answer to Allah. I only started visiting desh 3 years ago and have enjoyed it so much and because of mum went through with this build. Hopefully, we will get to enjoy this home from home without any issues in the future. My cousin and nephews back home have been great.
