It was interesting to watch :) As a Ukrainian, I have never seen Polus Wafer Bar, and I do know where guys got it, haha. Anyways, I can related to all reactions, especially for jelly candies - it's hard not to become addicted to them :)

10:17, пам'ятаю нам такі желейні цукерки давали навіть в школі, але мені не дуже подобалось чи через те що вони досить солодкі для мене чи через ще щось

UK, we don't have Icey or SnoCones or Slyrpues, no idea what they are.We have Slushies, kinda mashed ice with flavoured syrup stirred in. Chemical party

Sounds like a SlushPuppy

I think Slushies & SlushPuppies are more similar to Icees than Slurpees, but I'll have to check on that.

Regarding brands, there loads of them in Ukraine but not all of them are exported, mostly they're produced to be consumed within Ukraine. However, Roshen (that is owned by the fifth president of Ukraine, and it's pronounced like [Roh-shÁnn]) is one of the brands that are widely available abroad. As you see, even the packaging design is translated in English.

Yes, I did think it was curious that it was in English...thanks for the info and thanks for watching!
@EAGaussАй бұрын
@@LouieDoesaThing Sure! The etymology is simple - Mr. President's name is Petro Poroshenko, and he named the company Roshen. Obviously, the variety of sweets in Ukraine is much larger, especially if you visit a Roshen store in major cities like Kyiv, Lviv, or Vinnytsia that also features one of the biggest floating multimedia fountains in Europe - the Roshen fountain. The cakes and chocolate candies are freshly made and fantastic. They're incomparable to packaged sweets with longer shelf lives. Or take chocolate butter - that’s a taste from my childhood: 80% fat butter made from milk with cocoa powder. It's the perfect spread for toast - not too sweet, creamy, and very chocolatey. There are so many other delicious foods, not only factory-made but also in restaurants like Restauracja Baczewski in Lviv, 100 years back in future in Kyiv or Dacha in Odesa. I highly encourage you to visit Ukraine and try them yourselves - it’s a whole new world of gastronomic tourism.

We have Slush Puppies in the UK which sound similar to Slurpees.

Slurpees are very different from Slush Puppies. I'm not sure how well I can explain it, but slush puppies are much more coarse and icy than a Slurpee, which has the consistency of what I imagine quicksand might be like...except frozen, in crazy colors and very sweet haha. It's very fine / smooth compared to a Slush Puppy.

Slurpies are basically "slushies" or slush puppies in the UK
@LouieDoesaThing6 ай бұрын
I think they might actually be different. Here we have Slurpees (only at 7-11) and ICEE's, which I think are more like slushies / slush puppies. The two are very different.
