Hand made boats, hand made engines, hand laid tracks and hand built buildings. This is a monument to model railroading. Nothing but amazing. I wish I could see it in person.

The boats were kits but all else was scratch built. The boat kits are craftsman wood and styrene very difficult to build

Beautiful layout, absolutely amazing, and all hand built unbelievable. This man is more Then a master modeler. I love the boats he built. They are definitely museum quality.

Holy Moly! A true master in his own right. Every element is in direct correlation with the prototype. I cant imagine the time that Mr. Dodge has devoted to his career building this fantastic railroad. From the locomotives, to the structures and the landscape elements, a true masterpiece. It takes a keen eye for detail in O scale due to it’s size. Great RR indeed!

I lost track of what Andrew Dodge was doing lately, I knew it was Colorado Midland after DSP&P, but I was confused to see the "Central Maine" in the video description! It seems he wanted to model some ships- my first fear was he had some major crisis / falling-out with Colorado - personal or political and had to wipe it all out. Hopefully it seems like really he just needed to build to boat models and stick them on the layout.
