what fantastic video! was going to have a 6 thousand dollar Trane unit put in but have cancelled the order from Reliable heating and Air because they did not mention this valuable info. The rep had the nerve to say to me "well you did not ask" and I told him dont give me that bullshit because he was suppose to be the expert. I did my own investigation. I suggest everybody does too

Thanks - many people and companies are not yet familiar enough with closed crawlspaces to recommend them. We're glad you took the time to learn.

You make it look easy. Unfortunately my crawlspace is 80 years old and not tall enough to sit up !

Thanks so much! We love our work! If the insulation has gotten moisture on it, it will need to be removed. If it is not damaged or wet, you can opt to leave it or remove it with no replacement. Feel free to go to www.crawlspacedepot.com for more details!

make absolutely sure you have proper drainage around your house and water table is low in your area. sealing off a crawl space traps moisture between membrane and floor and walls, causing mold and mildew growth and degradation of the walls, especially in cold climates. can also cause a reverse swimming pool if crawl space floods

obviously you have not paid attention to the series of videos. There is ample information on Building Science and Greenbuilder.com that provide the scientific proof of the benefits of a closed crawl space. A sump pump was mentioned in the 1st video.
