Just finished the dress and it's BEAUTIFUL! I added some lace on the bottom for a small touch (which took a lot longer than I expected lol) but I've never been happier with any crochet pattern in my life

I've been working on the top for weeks and I'm currently stuck on the start of the skirt. I have no idea how to make 163 to 192. I tried but I just can't it's very confusing, any help??

So you need 29 increases. It sucks but you just have to count. If needed, you could try to do it in two rows instead of 1... if that's easier

@TainaSaldana No, you're not annoying love 💕. You can just do regular rows. If it is ruffling already it should still look good. If it's not ruffling yet, do a few more increases. I kinda think mine is too full and heavy anyway. I would do less increases if I made it again. lol 💕 😆 🤣. Good luck!

Weighing the completed item and dividing it by the yardage of each skein is a way to confirm. I do this especially for colour changing garments where I only use a part of each skein.

204-152=52 so you will need to increase 52 times. If you currently have 152 you will need to increase every 2 to 3 stitches. What helped me was alternating so increase on 2 then increase on 3 then back to 2 and use a tally for every increase you do, once that tally reaches 52 then just finish whatever you have left with single crotchets and you should have the required amount of stitches. I hope I explained that well enough, good luck!
