Not taking white money is the mission to build Black Independent Institutions #FDMG✊🏿🔥✊🏿
@C-Lyfe85 Жыл бұрын
If a white person wanted to give you millions of dollars to build a school, no strings attached, you'd be dumb not to take it. Because Lord knows black people ain't going to give you any money, not any substantial amount. Besides that they already owe reparations, so we can just add that to the pile. This is the same guy who claimed he had to use white HVAC installers to install his machines. In other words he had to do what he had to do.

The mom vs daughter segment is very true I know that my mother loved me but very difficult for to see me do better. I used to run track and my mother never supported me. She would complain and just make feel like I’m a bother for even playing. I could have 1 bad day in school, maybe have a C on a progress report, or just something very little and try and threatening me telling me I can’t run track for the season. I used to be upset she never physically supported at the meet and she told me when she was little nobody went to her track meet. So she basically tried to justify her wrong doing and I always say if you know how hurt you felt back then why would you do that to me. The way my mother treated me at a child I was told myself I will never do it to mines. Power to DR.UMAR

The topic on the mothers is so factual. I've experienced that, as well as my friends, and we didn't know that all our mothers were a like in their behavior until our late 30's. Why because we were left with so much freedom in our youth and I always felt like it was freedom to fail. However, I've decided to break that generational curse with my child.

It got like that because to Dr Umar it’s all about him leaving a Blacc college to go to a white one & steered away from the “mission” and like Loon said the man got kids! Which comes before the mission.. in other words he’s bringing his kids in another light where they can be seen! Deion made his name! It’s about the kids! He trying to make sure the right light hit them & along with doing that he’s trying to be there every step of the way by being there coach where ever they go! To the point when they make it to the league he’s gone take that job there too
@TheShadeTreeNetwork Жыл бұрын
@@colbymixon3299 But that also makes Dr Umar's point about extreme individualism in the Black community and its resulting negative affects that much more credible. And I'm sure you've heard the phrase, "Together we STAND, divided we FALL." Dr Umar is LITERALLY trying to save us all from falling because it is genocidal out here from ALL others against Black people--even by OTHER Black people. A lot of our people don't care about each other, and it showed when the 3 of them were at Jackson State. By certain accounts, Black celebrities didn't start physically coming to the games until they got to Colorado State! Giving that influx of fan and/or financial support to a PWI instead of an HBCU.

It's so sad how black people get all caught up in foolishness about a persons life, and they miss the entire lesson and history. I wouldn't care how many children he has, or when the school will be open. He demonstrate consistency, because he is still rolling with it. What about his messages. Some female commented that he is always looking and commenting on females, so what, If he didn't they would be saying he's gay. He demonstrates how you can have a message and like looking women at the same time. The guy is not a priest or pastor. There is a youtube female host who is just hoping to see him slip, um like, slip at what. Don't lose sight of the message as you look at the man.

I have to push a little back on the doc, sports is a way to keep your child in a structured routine and to keep them healthy, busy, out of gangs, comaraderie, and to me holding your composure, teamwork, and believing in a common goal, also leadership for some. But, when the parents get involved in some cases, it stops being fun. I would like to let them make their own choices, and sometimes, that doesn't always work. I prefer to be more academics in today's world. Parenting is complicated. I don't want to be objective, but I like the conversation 😊!! Thank you!! Mic'2024

This host is the type that Marcus meant when he said not everyone could come. He encourages BBL, which kills Black women.

Very glad my light skin mother only spoke life into my physical features and brain. My mom was also what L.L cool J called "around the way" girl.

The sports thing is soo true! My nephews went through this with their father and my father (2 deadbeats) my sister just as bad. My sister and I bumped heads because her oldest wanted to stop playing football and join the navy it was a problem in the family. I told him to do what makes him happy. He joined the navy and loves it. My other nephew is starting to see the truth because now they all about the youngest son( different mom) who playing football his daddy can't do enough for him. My sister and dad trying to claim this child but forgetting about their own blood. It's sad! I never allowed my sons to go through any of this with their father. I let them know they are valued simply because they exist.

"High likelihood that most won't subscribe", that's telling, hope someone watches this and sees how to get better, bc as is, this isn't it. One must be prepared to speak with Dr Umar as he comes ready. Part 3 isn't even worth hunting down🤷🏾♀️

the difference between loon and Umar is loon is seeing this as a business for the young content creators which is nothing wrong however dr Umar is speaking from a spiritual and educating point of view for his people systemically & not individually as loon is. so sometimes loon thinks it's an act or business move and its not. Dr.Umar is a legend and gifted and truly speak for the people you can feel it. has nothing to do with money or business even tho he has become a brand in his own right and movement for the people not himself.

A big part of the mission IS to open the without help from people outside the black community. It needs to be done 100% by black funding.

I’m so glad there’s someone educating us about the plantation psychosis that we are still suffering from. Even the fbi used willie lynch methods to cause turmoil in black communities and organizations
