I had my drive shaft fall out breaking the adapter mounts off and broke out one of the mounting holes on the transmission. Its an 89 lwb w250 and still can find a transmission that will bolt to the np241d. Its been three months so I won't have a core but planning on buying a rebuild. Great videos, stay squared away its a disappearing lifestyle!

Dang man that's awful! I can honestly say the hardest part about working on our first gens is finding what you need, everythjng's just so scarce now a days! Don't give up on her though, like you said it's a dieing lifestyle but it's worth it!

Just picked up a 90 w150 4x4. Having the same problem with my 318. I think every gasket is blown so it’s going to need a rehaul as well. Excited to see your next videos

Dang, sorry to hear that man! It's definitely not an ideal situation but you can surely turn it around! And once she's all fresh again you'll be golden for quite some time. I ended up converting mine over to a 440 with a 4 speed and we're hoping to break her in soon! Once everythings up and going I'll post more videos of it all!

How would you get that vacuum line information. I remember the sticker on my 79 Dodge W150. And even though it was broken down by specific colors. Looks like when I get this “Next” project, I’ll be paying someone (professional) to do these portions for me. Great video. It is/ was fun to watch. Reminded me of my younger days when that 79 was brand new.

Thanks Scott! In all honesty I know there's a lot of vacuum diagrams in the emissions control section of the Chilton manuals for these trucks but that's the only place I know to look!

@@adamsinitiative614 that’s a great tip. I’ll look into picking one up when I find the donor vehicle. Thank you!
