Thank you for sharing your expertise with us. Very insightful and serves as a great guide. Also, I love doing the fundamental work in order to prepare for a role. 1st) I read the entire script to get a better understanding of the story. 2nd) I like to highlight any clues that will help me develop my character. 3rd) I begin creating a backstory so I will have something to play with as I progress through my character's growth. It's such a fun and intriguing profession. I love performing and satisfying those who support the arts. Keep sharing your wisdom young lady, it's very helpful. Kudos 😎✌

How do you play multiple characters? Like twins? How do you make sure you're playing them so differently, that they feel portrayed by different actors, even though they're all you? Think, Tatiana Maslany on Orphan Black. She's the best at this, so check her out and that show if you've never heard of it.

Well, I would make sure you do all the work separately for each character--different set of objectives, obstacles and intentions (and everything else) -- plus there are physical choices, vocal choices...how these twin feel about each other and the world--point of view -- and relationships to all the other personas, places, objects and events in the story...

My character is always some form of me. If I get a choice, I like to play roles where the only one I study is me. If the character is itchy, how do I do itchy? If the character is gay, I’m not gay, but I’ve been hurt, misunderstood, accepted, loved. I use those times in my life, but put together like the writer or my imagination decides. But I’m also a novice.
