Part 2: How to Use Earth Tester Hioki FT6031-50 (Tutorial)

Earthing, or Grounding is an electrical system to protect people and tools that use electric currents from abnormal currents. In this system, wiring and installation is connected to earth/ground to discharge unwanted electric current. For humans, grounding is needed, one of which is to avoid the risk of being electrocuted by leaking electric currents or other unwanted electric currents. Whereas in devices that use electric current, earthing is most often used to counteract excessive electric current such as when the system is hit by a lightning strike.
Earth tester or grounding tester is a tool used to see the quality of the earthing system in the form of the resistance value of the existing grounding system in electrical installations.
