Allah being distinct from his creation is a hard sell, seeing as Allah came to earth and talked directly to Moses. "And [We sent] messengers about whom We have related [their stories] to you before and messengers about whom We have not related to you. And Allah spoke to Moses with [direct] speech." Q. 4:164 So Allah is not so distinct from his creation is he?

Muslims are constantly talking about Allah's attributes, about how just he is, how he is all-knowing and all-powerful etc. But this Muslim guy has met someone who wants to talk about the philosophical consequences of these attributes, and suddenly the Muslim guy says I am not allowed to talk about the unseen?
