Hi Andrew, no, you are not alone. art imitates life or the other way around. I have a feeling that Luke and Josh friendship, developed and evolved, at the same time and same way, that TJ and Cyrus friendship formed. When i first saw the muffin scene, is when i suspected that Cyrus and TJ would have a relationship. It was "friendship" at first sight and the friendship is still growing and flourishing. TJ and Cyrus helped each other grow and i feel the same wa about the friendship between Luke and Josh. My knees went weak, during the muffin scene. at first TJ was the gruff fire breathing dragon. the second, he interacted with cyrus, everything changed. He became soft, his body language changed. in 30 seconds, he had his his hands and body against cyrus 3 times. then, the bully jock of the school, unabashedly announces to the school, (that the sweet cute nerd he was handling, ) "HE'S WITH ME" i

Hi Emmy, i think that josh and luke have a awesome and genuine friendship, that started very early on. I think they became friends on set, even before Luks appearance as the "bully team captain"! They were friends on and off the set. they are still very much in touch! As far as i know, Luke hasn't publicly established or confirmed his sexuality, one way or the other! .

this long interview, was awesome. luke did an interview with shine on media in early august and touched on some of the issues they talked about in this interview. It was awesome to hear luke totally confirm his and joshes, commitment to what the story line was originally intended to be and not how it was rewritten as to keep both josh coming out and TYRUS deep in the closet. It wasn't surprising that there were not, visible LGBTQ characters!
