@@jaymxu There was also the Funky Sole Fundamentals battle in Philly last year which he won. I’m not sure what the true distinction is between an “exchange” and a battle other than the fact that that no one is keeping score. Both of the BTM exchanges larry did were still involved incredibly technical and high level dancing. The pace may have been more relaxed and there weren’t necessarily time limits, but he still got in his bag and performed at an elite tier. Idk what you people expect from The Twins that has you so hyper-critical about their techniques and performances on stage. You say HipHop factor was during the point where he began to fall off-based on what? Clearly the judges don’t agree and the crowd reactions were tremendous at many points. As far as THE CODE, there was choreography sure, but there’s _always_ choreography incorporated in duo or group battles; e.g. Fusion Concept. Larry and Laura still won so idk what your actual rebuttal is. Saying “Oh, that was just an exchange! Oh, that was just a choreo-heavy battle!” is not an argument. You’re just describing categories. Larry and Laurent both have signature moves which they routinely employ, yet that’s not evidence of a dancer falling off and getting stale. They always add new moves and never compromise on musicality, beat kills and implementing multiple styles of dance such as pop-lock, salsa, afro, litefeet, breaking, house, waacking, etc. The problem is that people in the KZbin dance sphere have watched SO many Les Twins battles and freestyles over the last 10 years that they equate an overconsumption of their material with them being played out somehow. That’s just not true. It’d be the same effect for any dancer that you watched with enough frequency for over a decade. Kefton, Tighteyex, Majid, Alex the Cage, Rubix, Greenteck,… whoever.
