Too bad for Officer Lacentra that he chose to let his ego overrule his professionalism. Based on his conduct, I'd say that's a general trend for him, anyway. From the beginning he was playing the pretentious authoritarian role, when all he had to do was make ten seconds or less worth of observations to realize that there were no laws being broken.. At that point, get in your little cruiser and pedal away. Officer Lacentra, shame on you, young man! You have a lot of growing up to do! Too bad for you, that was realized only after the bomb had already been dropped. You should've been guided by your oath and intellect instead of your fragile little ego, fella... I just got off the phone with the Orlando Internal Affairs department. At first it went well. She said that they were already aware of the video and were investigating it. I asked a few questions about how long until the results of their investigation would be available to the public and got the standard "I don't know it's a process" answer. Then I asked the one question she didn't like.. Were they investigating the other officers, the ones who were with him and knew what he was going to do?" That is when the call went way off script She asked what I would do if someone was video taping me, my house, my cars,. I answered that I was a private citizen and that was different than recording Police in Police cars on the public street. Public Employees in tax payer funded vehicles in public had no expectation of privacy and that the courts have ruled that taping police was not illegal. Then she went with the "In this day and age, we have to be careful. How did we know that he wasn't going to bomb us later?" That is when I asked if she had heard of a document called "The Constitution?" She than said that she didn't want to talk any more and hung up.

A mere suspicion is not enough to arrest. Although they do it and judges don't care, because it generates revenue. So, he badly attempted to create probable cause as Jeff so expertly revealed. An internal investigation is just that. Internal and it's conducted by his peers. Unless a cop is already disliked by his peers; they will make any excuse to let him off. Remember they won't file charges against him. Only The State can. They State won't file unless the agency (his employer) requests it. The circle is complete. The worst that would happen is a minor agency professional violation with no punishment. They can say they investigated and acted. The violation on his record means nothing and they will use an excuse to not punish him for example, the officer hasn't been punished before. So, they don't punish for violations and then keep not punishing with an excuse he has not been punished before. I have seen this type of record myself. The unlawful system has been at this much longer than any individual and they know how to play the game. Justice systems are contained inside the county and it's all politics. If an attorney want's to be allowed to practice at the court house and be liked by judges; he won't be suing local cops. The United States is in a bad place with law enforcement.

What was the result of the law suit? It was an illegal arrest, the officer lied on his report, so you sued, right? What was the result?
@willarroyo38395 жыл бұрын
if i was a juror i would say no, this is post 911, no taking pics of police officers without providing ID and a good reason, just because its protected in the first amendment, doesnt mean it cant be questioned. This guy was wrong for not providing ID when the authority requested it, thats suspicious,,,,,post 911 that is.

If you were a juror you would be instructed to follow the law moron. Watching this in Aug19, at this point every American is 58 times more likely to be killed by a police officer than a terrorist. @Will Arroyo, 911 was 18 years ago...your statement is invalid today.

Should of placed a Public Notice press release about that false arrest, and false police report, suborn by perjury, "as issue of fact and law" [no liable there], so others whom arrested by this very same cop can have their case reviewed for potential Corrective Justice, and opening class action suit against cop, if feasable. Could also FOIA records of that cops past arrest history, notifying all about cop who arrested them, who a uncreditable witness. Law Maxium: "What done by fraud, is not cured by lapse of time" also " Whatever is void from the begining, can not be made valid by subsequent act."

You're so stupid, you're confusing bigotry with one's beliefs. Many blacks hate whites and that's not a crime to hate. And whites hate blacks, which is also not a crime. With Trump you'll get the truth on any subject. You may not like his views, but he is beholding to NO ONE but the American people for the first time in 75 years. I think you're gonna like the change, especially from puppets like Bush and Obamarama, both puppets to their parties.

A better video I've not seen, this is clean, you make and state your points and show how the dirty games are played! Please make the guard famous and file a suit against the department and the other 2 clowns need a jacket in their file as well. It shuts down promotional value because they can almost never be called into court due to the history they have established.

I hope you sued them. This was totally ridiculous and so unprofessional. Really? This is all the cops have to do? Thank god for video or they would be walking all over us worse than they already are. +Sean Redsky you sound ignorant on so many levels. Yea he baited the police to see if they would do the right thing. Don t police bait people all the time? Have you ever heard of bait car? Sting operations? Undercover police? Now that citizens do it back to them its a problem? Seems like a double standard to me buddy.
@jeremysawyer30069 жыл бұрын
Ok false arrest is criminal activity. Also they would not have been involved in criminal activity if there were not baited. Come on now..
@jeremysawyer30069 жыл бұрын
Ok you obviously did not see the comma between the false arrest, bait car, sting operations. those are all three different instances. Nowhere did I say that arresting people for theft is false arrest, what I was saying in this video he was falsely arrested. So your last point is invalid. as far as entrapment no matter how you try to cover it up it is still baiting people. We pay for their services like you just said so we have every right to monitor their work correct? this was clearly retaliation for not giving up his info. He had no probably cause to run his tags, which is illegal, and found a reason to pull him over. you can hear it throughout this video.
@R3DSH33P5 жыл бұрын
did you ever do anything about this, like a complaint, lawsuit or anything?

All crimes committed in this video were on the part of the police officers. Please sue those oath breakers. Well done Jeff. Remaining calm during the arrest is crucial, and any jury will see this for what it really is.
