Nice car. All that stuff you removed from underneath the arches was actually the protective wax which Porsche applies to the cars when building them.

Dropping some gems in this one Harper 👍, going to use the magic eraser & water. Is it ok to grab the wheels and put them back on after coating them? I waited ages 🤦🏻‍♂️

Hi Neil, What car is it? I would start on the bonnet as if there is going to be any dust, which is unlikely, then I would settle on the flat areas. Maybe use something like Sonax Perfext finish or Scholl S20 on a orange lake country pad. You will be able to polish it in one day. It won’t be perfect, but it will be hugely better without you having to spend days on it 👍🏼

It’s very difficult to tell without seeing it, but after the car is thoroughly decontaminated I would use Koch Chemie H8 and a blue lake county pad then finish with an orange pad and Sonax Perfect finish

Do you need a paint gauge for just a single stage enhancement?

On a newer car I personally wouldn’t as realistically you would only be removing 2-3 microns, but on an old car I would just to see if anywhere has been painted or has been polished before 👍🏼

Excelent job :) i want too polish mine car.. but i dont have garage, it is safe to polish outside like this? Small amount of dust or wind is no problem? Thanks :)

Thanks Janko. I haven’t had any issues in the past and I’m be done over 100 outside 👍🏼 You always have to look out for contaminants on the paintwork, even when the car is inside as you still have to battle with polishing dust 👍🏼

This was Britemax Igneous, but I use Cquartz UK a lot
