This kinda breaks my heart because even though the show gave them all these careers it's clear Abby wishes this show didn't ruin all of these relationships and it's clear she misses these girls

Truly believe if she could go back she would make a ton of changes, especially when working with the producers. I think she would have always been strict and had the girls compete against each other (she has stated that's her method of teaching) but she wouldn't let the show get away with some things.

I have mutual family friends who used to do dance classes at her studio pre dance moms she’s a great dance teacher she’s strict but she was still sweet it’s probably bc of the time limit on how long they had per dance that she got frustrated bc I don’t think making a 6 year old learn a dance in a week would’ve been very easy

Nah, that’s just her trying to tug at people's heartstrings. I’ve had Cerebral Palsy all my life, and spent much of my childhood using a wheelchair. If anything, Abby now understands how the girls felt all those years being on the receiving end of a power imbalance.

i feel like the lifetime producers kinda ruined everyone’s relationships. like on a lot of the shows i’ve seen from them it’s drama. (for what i’ve seen) and i think it’s just the show in general.

And the ballet video and commentary brought back memories of being in ballet class as a little kid. I took dance classes from age 3 until I went away to college and even performed in a professional dance company while I was in high school. Life took me down a different path, but I still have a passion for dancing and always will. 💞

What I did, knowing I didnt wanna be a Hairdresser, I did all the academic classes and then came back for an extra year and did JUST the hairdressing program until I was done, THEN I went off to performing school and musical theatre college. The hairstyling always comes in handy in Theatre and the Dance/Film world! Books me lots of jobs knowing how to style myself, too!

I actually came down to the ALDC studio in Pittsburgh, and I was fangirling the whole time. I wanted to go see the studios, but I realized that there are still classes going on and they wouldn't let us. Besides that, it was an amazing experience to see my favorite shows debut location!

My dad ended up in an electric power chair when I was maybe 11 or 12 and I can say with unwavering certainty that it’s the attitude of who is in that chair that determines whether you are commanding attention or ignored. I don’t advocate for his method of commanding attention which was literally running into and over anything that was in his way even though it was was always effective. Maybe find a middle ground that isn’t a form of public endangerment. 400+ lbs of man and 300ish lbs of powerchair vs a human body guarantees that the next time the person saw him they listened and move out of his way. I’m sure you can imagine what he was willing to do in his home life given what he was perfectly ok in doing out in public… the batteries on those chairs will always outlast running on foot

Hi Abby Lee. Sharing a short story how I got into dance my late aunt rita was adance teacher before she passed away in the hospital. Unfortunately she lost blood she taught jazz and ballet it wasn't untill Middle School dances that got helped me be known thru all of schoolol lol
