Beginning as a humble 17 inch Frankie, this doll transforms into one of the legendary creatures of the Aura Trio: Xerneas, the ‘Life Pokemon’ (what a title!). i have to admit, i didn't really 'get' doll modification when i first discovered it. idk why but i found it a little creepy. maybe it was all the disembodied limbs and the way dolls frequently make an appearance in horror films haha. but once i sat through one of your videos, i instantly got hooked. at first, i didn't fully realise why. but it's videos like this that make me understand: what you do is freakin' _art_ . seriously, the amount of work you put into these things is incredible. you just keep outdoing yourself; this is your best doll by far. so now i'm a weirdo who watches people make dolls online but honestly i'm glad i do, it's beautiful :)

A tip with polymer clay, use pure rubbing alcohol to clean the clay before baking, it helps keep the clay clean of finger prints and dust (just a small tip cause I love all your customs and I wanted to give you a tip :D Love your dolls btw they always look so beautiful 💕

The final Xerneas turned out absolutely stunning. I'm in full awe at both the design, doll and how much work was put into this doll. Amazing work, as always! a lil polymer clay tip: get a cotton swab, douse in rubbing alcohol, lightly dab on clay. cleans the fingerprints an dust right off

I'm floored! I love Xerneas. I picked X Edition because of it and holy molly! I must say that i really love how the pieces of resin you did using the layer by layer turned out. Super time consuming BUT! they look like real cristal shards with their difference of super transparent to more opaque and such!

You could use some fiber-optic fibers to go from the existing lights through the rest of the length of the antlers and lead to the second sets of jewels. Then no new wiring or extra labour-intensive work needed to light up the whole thing. Amazing work! The final result is absolutely stunning.

I think out of the three Pokémon, Xerneas looks the best, the others look a lot more like normal dolls. But Xerneas doesn't look like a doll anymore, it looks like a beautiful piece of art. I think Hextian and you are the best Doll Costumizers :3 And actually I can't watch other people doing doll costuming without thinking that I dislike the channel and that I actually should go back to Dollightful or Hextian.

When working with FIMO CLAY you can heat it so it becomes mushy and easier to work with. 👌

Polymer clay tip: Use a sugar scrub on your hands to completely remove dust and such when working with pale colors. Wash your hands often as well! You're amazing, Kat

Dollightful another tip, use some rubbing alcohol on a qtip to help clean your clay. Also, a good go to for harder clay is using a little baby oil to help the kneeding process. @NerdECrafter may have some good tips for both resin and clay work. This doll was incredible, I think regardless of all the bumps you knocked it out of the park.

Sugar scrub does an even better job than regular soap-- I don't know why, but once I started using it all of a sudden my little figurines started turning out a lot cleaner! And it nicely exfoliates your hands as well. Plus, it's super easy to make at home-- basically just sugar, soap, and coconut oil! I've been making my own for a while. Some people add essential oils for scents, but... eh.

a few quick tips for polymer clay i you happen to make more inset eyed dolls:) 1) if your clay is crumbly and annoying to work with you can use a tiny bit of oil(not too much) and mash it together with any tool you want until it comes together then you can knead it so you can save your fingers a little bit of work 2) to get any dust off your clay projects you can use a small brush and some rubbing alcohol during the sculpting process and right before you put them in the oven to keep them somewhat clean

You should try using moldable plastics! That would be really cool and it is fairly cheap and lightweight! You put them in hot water and make the modifications!
