This era of Smosh is like 2015-2019 Funhaus or 2011-2013 Game Grumps. Hard to imagine Shayne or Courtney ever leaving but one day Angela will leave along with Amanda, and Trevor will be the star and even younger more serious and socially conscious kids will come in you won't get it anymore. On the bright side, we can recognize we're in the good times now. And we can appreciate them more knowing that.

Who’s to say they won’t keep getting better? Tons of amazing people have been on the cast and later gone on to do amazing stuff elsewhere. Every time someone leaves someone new and awesome comes in. Every time I watch the Reuben bit I end up crying from laughing so hard. I remember when it first came out. I was laughing along to everyone's drawings, having a good time but it started when Angela called him out. Her calling him out, him denying it, it being Reuben, Reuben's face and the "What?" in the drawing. I had to stop the video. It just all works to get me for some reason. Even just typing all that out I start to feel that loss of control. I've only been watching Smosh for a little over a year now and I've probably laughed more than I ever have in my life and I'm 44! I've actually gotten to a point where I'll skip the Reuben video in clips if I feel I can't handle a laugh-until-i-cry moment. Love these goofballs.

I feel like for every new crew shift, there is another Smosh Golden Era. Before, it was Ian and Anthony. Then, Boze, Mari, Joven, Damien, and Lasercorn. After that, Shayne, Damien, Ian, Courtney, Jackie, and Noah. Then recently, Angela, Damien, Shayne, Chance, Amanda, and with Anthony joining again, Ian and Anthony. It's been great seeing old cast go into their own projects and seeing the new sense of comedy that the new cast brings in!
