To whoever, who is feeling embarrassed on her speaking english, FYI us odias, aren't bound to converse with english, 95% of the people are completely odia and broken hindi is used when non-odia people try to converse with us India has the 2nd highest speaking countrymen doesn't mean all indians are exposed to speaking english everyday or meant to speak english perfectly! Hindi is our official language not our national language which also gives the idea of how all people in India aren’t meant to know hindi expressions properly!! As for i know in my case for icse, we got to learn hindi from 4th-7th grade only I don't know about state board, but pretty sure, it would have been temporary, and usually state board students converse mostly in their respective state's representative language(my full stop button ain't working) As a indian, to be more specific as a odia lumina, I HAVE NEVER SEEN THE MEMBERS POINTING OUT HER LANGUAGE If they are comfortable in her accent, why the hell are you guys so bent upon her speaking english! I get it she represents our country but where does she represents? SOUTH KOREA!! Its official language is korean, which is her 2nd best well spoken language I feel!! Sriya, my luv you're doing an amazing job!! Its a pleasure to watch you ma'am ❤ You're great sweetie!!

Loved this reply, the way some indians are projecting their own insecurities on her. That's really sad. People need to learn that having an accent as a non speaker is the most natural thing to happen. She's doing really well and representing India so well. Most of these people have these weird expectations from people representing their country, to be perfect in English without accent blah blah. I remember something similar happening to a cricket player, the man is playing for his country but some people are busy harassing him over his lack of English knowledge and speaking skills.

English is spoken widely in India, and many of us speak it fluently. India is actually the second-largest English-speaking country in the world, after the United States, and it’s a language that plays an important role in our daily lives. Sometimes, when you speak in English, there are some mistakes that make it a bit challenging to understand. I hope you'll continue practicing and improving, as it would really help your communication. As for Hindi, I understand that you're from Odisha, but it could also be beneficial to work on your Hindi pronunciation and grammar. Keep it up, and I’m sure you’ll improve over time! Keep learning, and we’re all rooting for you.

Language is for communication not a standard to judge someone.... And for hindi it's not her mother tongue bt still she is doing great...
