Thank you again for this. Maeve Maguire is so chic - I love how Nicole refuses to let smarmy Clay Jordan get the best of her. I also love the conversation between Quentin and Brandy, which feels so real, very believable brother and sister. When Brandy says something dramatic and then says they could write a song on that - it's how real people talk. Great scenes with the Karrs too.

Our ABC affiliate refused to clear The Edge of Night because apparently reruns of The Big Valley were more important. So it aired on a fuzzy UHF station as the lead-in to Lucy Show reruns. Great program flow lol. What a treat to see performers like Sharon Gabet on social media sharing their memories and treasures like this. Thank you, Sharon.

I have seen a 1974 episode featuring Dixie Carter as Brandy; it's so nice to see a 1976 episode featuring her as well! It is such a shame that the networks were careless with daytime dramas back then and didn't save all of the episodes ): It's so much fun to watch the pre-1979 episodes that have been saved! Recently I saw a 1972 As the World Turns episode and it is SO different! So appreciative of all of these Edge episodes! I have seen everything from 1979-84 that has been made available, so much fun to see the few from before then!

OMG!!! I can't even begin to describe what I am feeling. The opening (my fave), Seeing Michael Stroka. I watched the entire Dark Shadow soap (65-71) from 2012 to 2016. I knew he looked familiar. Now, I remember where I know him from. That scene with Nancy and Timmy was was top notch. I got so excited just hearing the name Danny Micelli. I was hoping he was showing up next. Then there was Johnny Dallas. I can't believe how much I remember of these people. I was 9 or 10 when this aired. Too bad there was no Serena. Then, of course, the closing. Thank you Sharon. This was absolutely incredible. loooooove it.

It's amazing what a radical change this show went through in a relatively short period of time. I bet Ann Flood and Forrest Compton felt like they were on a totally different show with all the changes that would take place the last 8 years it was on the air.

I would love to hear them talk about that. Ann Flood certainly saw a lot of actors come and go on Edge. Of course, I'll bet John Beradino, Emily McLaughlin, Rachel Ames, and Denise Alexander must have felt the same way about the major changes that occurred on General Hospital. IMO, the change in All My Children from 1970 through the mid-80s was much more gradual.

@@rhsharp, All My Children remained stable for nearly two decades thanks to Agnes Nixon being involved in some capacity or another. It was her favorite creation, and she loved the show dearly.
