Also for some, it makes the value much more real when you bet. Augmenting to the excitement when winning and opposite when loosing. When you exchange real cash for plastic. Makes people bet differently as if it’s not worth real money sometimes

We are not gambling against the dealer. They just provide a service of dealing and making change. At a Florida card room we are gambling against a banker. Seated to the dealer’s left. You’ll see a chip passed from banker to the box on the dealer’s right. That is the rake. With 60k anyone can be a banker.
