Yeah.. it's sad but on the practical side it's 5 years which is a long span of time ... Even families list hopes but here since it's a fiction and maybe they are loaded which is why her treatment went on ... And apart from this imagine he never moved on but there's this uncertainty of whether she'll come out of the vegetative stage or not , then it won't be easy for that person to go on in his or her day to day life as that person is so much invested in his or partner that it's not easy to go on with the life as if nothing happen. Perhaps that's why it's been told time is the healing factor in our life , it makes you forget things that are hurting you ... I don't know what kind of character initially Jihoon possesses , if it's good then fine that he moved on as he deserves to be happy as well. And I'm sure he took a year or so to date this woman before marrying her. So, it looks like he forgot about y/n after about a year or so. Yeah, it must have been hard for him to see her in a coma, but.....he moved on so quickly and easily. When y/n returned his gifts to him that day, she pointed out that his love for her had been weak.
