Excellent question! Compliance refers to a structure's susceptibility to movement caused by external forces. A higher level of compliance, indicating lower stiffness, results in easier movement of the structure in response to applied forces. Compliance curves visually represent the displacement amplitude of a specific point on a body per unit of applied force. Feel free to pose any additional questions in the chat.
