Hi Jay Singh The Deploy Software Updates Wizard was completed successfully. But, Client PC is not detecting any updates from SCCM, though i have uninstalled few updates from Client PC still updates not reflecting in the software center. 1) I have Run to force detect a)Software Updates Deployment Evaluation Cycle b) Software Updates Scan Cycle 2) Tried to install (KB4561600) this update is not available in client PCs (2PCs), 3) In software update groups selected update (KB4561600) in summary showing Totals Assets count:2. 4) Target Collection: Computers 5) I was able to see that non-compliant 2pcs (it means that sccm is recognizing 2 pcs required updates,) but my doubt client pc is not pulling updates from sccm. 5) I have checked (WUAHandler, UpdatesDeployment, UpdatesHandler, UpdatesStore) logs in Client PC, it seems no error. Any suggestions !!

Hi Sir, Thanks for sharing your knowledge, I have a small question we have deployed one application to 8 devices and application has been successfully deployed to 5 out 8 devices other 3 having issues when we checked the software center i can see downloading stuck at 0 please note all 8 devices are located in the same room, any idea about this issue sir

Check the following logs from c:\Windows\ccm\logs directory. - wuahndler.log - updateshandler.log I would suggest you to compare these logs with the working one. Use cmtrace to read the logs. Let me know how you go.

Very nice videos, it helps me a lot. However, can you tell us if you add a gpo to disable updates on clients, specify a update server.. Because my clients can still updates by themselves in Windows Updates. Thanks a lot !

Hi jay Singh, I have followed manual software update and deployed software updates wizard but ended with an error "Error: Failed to download content id 16777592. Error: Invalid certificate signature ", and I have checked patchdownloader.log and ended with these 2 errors "Authentication of file C:\Users\sccm\AppData\Local\Temp\2\CABA5A4.tmp failed, error 0x800b0004" and "ERROR: DownloadContentFiles() failed with hr=0x80073633" , could you please suggest on this!

Hi Vinod, 1. The error you received for the Cert could be related to few things. - You could not connect to Microsoft Updates because of any networking issues - Updates are no longer available - Cert issue if your site is using HTTPS You can try the following for this: - Open the Internet Options control >> Security tab >> Select the "Internet" zone >> Uncheck the box for "Enable Protected Mode" (Test and if does not work revert the change) - Try with different updates - Check the Certs 2. Try downloading the updates manually through IE. Grab the direct download path from the patchdownloader.log file and see how you go. You could test this direct download path on a different machine on your network as well.

Hi Jay , We have deployed windows 10 updates manually to the device collection based on windows 10 build numbers. When checking on monitoring tab for deployments, some of the machines are in unknown state and some are in error ones. We can ping those machines and client is also installed however the client activity shows inactive in most of these machines. How can i remediate these errors and push the updates for these machines? Please suggest.

Hi Hrishi First thing I would try to fix the client activity. As you know, if the client is inactive then it does not receive the policy updates. To fix client activity, I would suggest re-installing clients on these machines. With the errors, check the client logs in relation to Updates. These logs are UpdatesDeployment.log, UpdatesHandler.log, and UpdatesStore.log.
