No, John Paul and Harry are straight in real life. I think you need at least one guy that really is gay to couple with a straight bloke. Emmett S, Parry , and James all said that Kierion is really easy to work with in the gay scenes. A example of a bad pairing is Lockie and John Paul. This was a horrible pair to me. They looked like two straight men that were dreading the kissing. No chemistry at all to me. I think that's why they broke them up quickly.

+quietastronaut Straight people can play gay. But, if a gay guy plays a gay, he or she does not have to reach far. I think it takes an extremely confident straight man to play gay. Examples are both actors in Brokeback Mountain(Heath Ledger and ....). You have to be really comfortable in your own skin. Harry is I think 23 years old and not quite their yet in my opinion.

+Emmette Gamble Or Cristian Sancho and Ezequiel Castaño from the argentinian soap Botineras. Oh man, those two have the most intense explosive chemistry together. They're like an atomic bomb and they're both straight in real life.

I hope Parry Glasspool is able to step out of Brendan's shadow and have a great relationship with Ste. It will be difficult because the two best episodes of Kieron's Hollyoaks career so far have been with Emmett (the bridge episode in Dublin and the heart-wrenching goodbye to Brendan in the hospital). If Parry can project some of that fire with Ste, then Starry will have a lot of fans.

Emmett S is a very confident straight man that was not the least bit afraid of playing a gay man. Parry is young and just starting out. Hopefully he will get there one day.

John Paul catches Harry and Ste kissing shirtless behind the stage at Pride fest. Tony is speaking to the crowd on the other side of the curtin on stage. John Paul gets pissed and untied the curtin exposing Harry and Ste (tongue in mouth) to the public and Tony.
