When I was young we did not have internet so I read comics like obelix and popeye now with internet I watch Parliament. It's very funny just like a treasure trove of popeyes. I crack myself laughing with these characters. Keep it up. Really comical the idiocy and total incompetency and lack of respect similar to thuggery but very funny though. We should rename parliament the new popeyes. Might just be appropriate hey?

Watching these excepts from SA parliament and it makes you realise African politics shouldn't confirm to a western democratic system based on houses of parliament. Revert to the ways of tribalism or chieftains I think. I am sure there was more respect going on in these systems than what you witness here. It's a disgrace to every young South African thinking about their future to watch this pantomime.

1994. How proud, we lined up in queues all over the country. What an optimistic attitude we carried on the day. Oh what faith we had in the emancipation of blacks by their own (black administration). Little did we know; that was the day we; by our very own votes, voted corruption into power. Little did we know that this day will be among the most lamented to any discerning and sensible South African. Yet still we have individuals who will religiously vote back into power, again and again, this very administration of wolves who give us grants while they loot the country. Surely, they have rightly identified the behaviour of a poverty stricken mentality. Yes, everyone is entitled to their political views but may it be known today and in generations to come that: 1. He who votes a thug into power, is equally a thug with them. 2. Party alliance is not necessarily truth. You can be relevant to the current political trend and be wrong at the same time. Just as much as we; of the faith can be saved and confused at the same time. When blind loyalty leads, discernment goes. How ashamed we stand today. Looking at the country going to waste. Counting on past victories, with nothing tangible to show for it today. Yet you still get some sick view, by those who carry themselves as if they are better informed, telling us “you forget too soon”… No we’re not, neither are we short sighted. It’s just that we are also not difficult to acknowledge the truth and the reality of the day. Truth be told; our country is in trouble with these political hooligans. Worse; the only voice of reason and the conscience of mankind (the Church) is also scared; as always, to face and tell the truth. Instead of constructive and assertive challenge towards these “corruption specialists” who run our country to shambles; we are told to pray for the government as the Bible so, teaches. Half the truth is more dangerous than a blatant lie. You see, I can’t be worried about what you’ll think of me and still tell the truth. Let me shut up.

You're not a South African. Don't say our counrty just because you are black [maybe]. It doesnt work like that. Fight your own battles where you stay please. We don't need your propaganda here. This is a South African problem.

This deputy speaker is weak. Offence is not given but is taken. The Deputy Speaker was suppose to tell the member the words he must withdraw. The speaker failed to tell the member what to withdraw. Instead he tells him the implications of what he said, but fails to tell him exactly the words that contain those implications. Where's that big yellow bone lady. . .I love how she chairs the house.
