Most of these cars are repossessed..so the banks are trying to get the money they are owed..that is why they are so cheap

But the weelee prices are low and they are all subject to confirmation. So im guessing they go back to the bank to confirm if they can except the prices. I got Polo GTI there for R105000 but they had to confirm. They later came back and declined my offer and said they will except R175000 which i declined

Auctions should never include: "Subject to confirmation". Because they are playing with your emotions, wasting your time and actually baiting. We should approach the regulations body. Prices should be final. Just like vehicle is sold as is.

2nd hand GTI is a problem. Those cars are always abused. You are likely buying a problem.

I'm intrigued by the number of no bids at this auction. Is it a strategic move by the bidders? Also, what happens to the cars that don't receive any bids, are they re-auctioned at a lower price?

They will be present on the next bid. All cars have a reserve price they need to meet. So as long there are no bids meeting the reserve value they will not sell for lower.

They are either re-auctioned or given to another auction house

The bidders know the value of cars and the ones I saw are high mileage I wouldn't bid on them either. You'd get better deals at We Buy Cars tbh.
