PART 3. DISCOVERY KARTIKA PLAZA HOTEL Bali. Villa

In this 4 Part series, I documented my Family trip from Jakarta to Bali in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic. We planned this trip 2 years ago and had to put it on hold for 7 months since March 2020. We thought long and hard and finally decided to drive instead of fly for obvious reason. We figured we pretty much stayed at home the entire time, might as well change it a bit and enjoy while we're at it.
Bali was severely impacted by the pandemic, and the tourism industry suffered the hardest hit. Hotel's rate is heavily discounted and we took advantage of that with upgrading our rooms. We avoided eating out, going to places and stayed in our rooms enjoying the room service.

This time I reserved the Villa, which include 2 magnificent bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a private pool, and a "tree house". Both bedrooms and living room have 2pk AC, which is needed in Bali hot sun, both rooms have large tubs and outdoor showers.
Wifi is around 4mbps. Room service however is very limited due to covid but are generally quite good, and breakfast was ala carte. We opted to have it sent to our rooms to avoid any contacts with other guests.
Overall experience was very nice, as the Villa gave a very traditional cosy and comfortable stay for my family. Our kids love it.
