Also a Captain here, at merchant ships. This DUI was maybe the best thing what happened in your life. Like a punch in the face to bring a person into the reality. Alcohol is a sneaky Bastard, slowly creeping it's way inside. I hope all is well! Greetings from the sea.

Still one thing is not clear to me. With the imagined experiment with giving equal drinks to 2 man of the same weight. The alcohol level is rising differently with a fat man or a muscled man. But which one is the one where the alcohol level is rising faster into the blood?

Alcohol poisoning is very scary, without help (sometimes medical) there’s a chance it can be fatal, this instructor had a very scary addiction to alcohol and his story has persuaded me to seek help for myself and everyone around me who may be suffering from this as well.

Alcohol is dangerous stuff. It took me a long time to realize that as dangerous as it can be. I hope that you are still sober brother.
