There is a safety clamp on the cvt . Need to tune to release slightly the clamp so that it wont pull back. Safety feature incase u accidentally step the accelerator too much

Honda calls it Deceleration Selector Paddle..it's function not same paddle shift like in normal petrol car

每个hybrid车都有regenerative braking，我的PC的brake pad 9年都还没需要换新的。还有就是在hybrid车的CVT跟普通的CVT是完全不一样的变速箱。可以说是跑齿轮的CVT可是也是无段的。

因该说是regenerative braking吧，可以看到箭头越多，regenerative braking越强，电池也充得比较快 （看charge针）

Regen control, 其实可以根据道路情况，让我们调整自动刹车力度，减少脚在brake 和 acceleration pedal 之间移动，过弯可以很轻松，也更快。

@@aderenlim 是不一样的 ，因为这车的paddle shift原理是控制回收发电机的发电量 當paddle shift转到最大时感觉到就有很大的引擎制动效果 , 同时发电机把最大电流量向大电池充电，在发电机受巨大负载时就感觉到很重 ，真正的不是engine break 感恩你有很完美的视频 。谢谢 !

说得再白再简单一点, B mode就是主要拿来更快速地充电就对了..

Actually for Honda i-mmd, because the electric motor is much bigger (compared to toyota system), and it is permanently connected to the drive wheel, this design is good for regenerative braking. so most of the time, the disk brakes are never used. The disk brakes are only used 1.when very strong braking power is needed 2. at speed below 20 km/h. At any other conditions, when we press the brake pedal, honda i-mmd is using regenerative braking. The purpose is to recover the kinetic energy of course. But the benefits are 1.very fast brake response 2.very good (smooth) brake feel 3.brake pads last significantly longer, and this avoids most of the bad condition when brake pads start to worn out.

Thing is, with the small drive battery, wouldn't it quickly charge up the battery if you were to coast down hill for an extended period of time. Then the rate of regen braking will be reduced, as seen at the end of the video where it refuses to "downshift" into the third stage.

If lifting pedal can reduce speed fast, then best is we avoid tailgate these city RS, because no braking light tell tailgater it is slowing down fast

Regen braking on immd system, the brake light will be activated automatically, flashing actually.

Pretty sure the ECU will activate the brake lights once it crosses the deceleration threshold like any other EVs.

@@winsontiong601 part 1 的影片里有提到了，以前的 hybrid 引擎是主角，电动马达是配角。而在 I-MMD 里电动马达是主角，引擎是配角。是相反的。当然开起来的时候是差不多一样，只是不怕电动马达没电🤩，还有没有变速箱换挡的感觉。
