I’ve played slow pitch in the past. Went as high as B. But is it really a sport anymore ? Literally almost anyone can hit a ball out. I get knuckleballs etc, but let’s be honest, this has gotten way out of hand.

If you really played B usssa tournament ball, then why are you asking this question? I agree hitting it out has become "easier" but there are homerun limits in most all events. Forcing players to be all around better hitters, and fielders.

@@hittingwiththenation because it’s become outrageous ! When you can goto your local park and see 5’7” guys hitting balls 325’, it’s gone a little too far. Most every A player, and probably majority of B, can hit the ball out with an old est. I’d just like to see the game become more strategic again. Home run limits isn’t going to crack down on bad hitters playing E or D hitting balls out with ease. I guess it’s just turned into a hr derby, and that’s what ppl like now. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@flogrown2014 Well, considering that E gets one hr a game, I don't see your point. But, I agree the ball goes further easier. But both teams have the same advantage.
