Lol I love how the commentary on each part is like listening to Carci’s slow descent into madness as he’s forced to spend time doing commentary on a game he absolutely despises playing. For anyone who are wondering why the hitbox is inconsistent in this game is because there is a latency happening between the character model and the actual hitbox when character and NPC are doing certain animations such as Leon rolling and crouching. This explains why Leon's back sometimes get hit while running, enemies attack misses your character model but still hits you anyway and why it is nearly impossible to crouch dodge krauser's transformed grab attack.

The funniest thing about the "random bullet spread" thing that some video games like to do is that real guns don't work that way at all lol inaccuracy comes from shaky hands and recoil-something the old red dot captured perfectly

If you put the ACOG on the LE5 it’s pretty accurate. And with the black case dropping more large resources you can get a LOT of ammo for it. Not sure how it works on Pro but up to hardcore it’s pretty useful. Also probably better for NG+ since you get it so late. Also thanks for making the guide. Even if you didn’t enjoy it it is still useful and maybe other than some of the commentary (which I totally get) it’s a great guide

I dunno about anyone else but I'm here to see how Carci solves the Regenerator problem. The LE5 at least has a scope mount. It makes an OK fallback for killing regenenerators if you happen to be out of rifle ammo. I gave it an honest shot during my first hardcore playthrough but it just doesn't do enough damage or stagger per hit to be useful.

I really appreciate the honesty in the commentary, though. A lot of content creators try to go for the "first try perfection" look, but it's refreshing to hear that sometimes you just gotta reload until RNGesus lets you win. Even the greatest games aren't flawless, and hearing both sides of the story gives me a better appreciation for what it is and how you handle it. Definitely going to be watching your No Damage Village run next. I haven't played it, and I could only sit through part of a regular walkthrough because it was honestly just boring as hell to me, but your commentary always livens up any game, so I'll give it another shot! 🤗

I would just like to say thank you, I found your RE2 1998 Claire B run and it really helped me go faster when I was tired of trying to play the game for the fourth time in a row. I really want to play HUNK and 3 because my friend really wants to play RE4 Remake with me, and I wanted to get past it as fast as possible. I’m no speedrunner and I’m playing the US version, so certain skips can’t work for me, but it’s really helpful for more general parts like that one hallway before the safe room office (idk how to call it) so thank you, I came for instructions and got funny and unique commentary :)

51:54 I doubt Carci cares but as a gun pedant I was summoned and must dispense with information regardless of how much you want it. That "sniper" is an HK 'SL8' which is a civilianized G36 and it takes the same cartridge (5.56x45mm / .223 remington) as a real G36, M16, M4, etc. Ironically in most situations a high quality AR15 with good ammo will be cheaper, lighter and more accurate. SL8's are mostly used to convert to G36 clones by people who can source G36 parts. 2 guns for the price of one worse than a cheap one.

Really grew to dislike the contextual action of stabbing an enemy in this game. Not even 13 minutes in the video and I see it fuck you over like twice with a backstab and a plaga revival. Can’t tell you how many times I’d try to backstab or kill a grounded enemy and end up doing a lame air stab instead. Anybody who puts up with it in high level Mercs is a saint.

I massively respect you for getting through this game on pro difficulty with no damage n doing everything to. This isn't an easy achievement to do in this game and I feel very sorry for you being pressured to get these videos out because of your toxic audience and stupid youtube BS. When I got through this game on Hardcore mode (first run) then later my Pro run I just knew that this game is gonna be a massive struggle for challenge runners due to the batshit savage n agreeable broken enemy programing but then again capcom knows us fans and doesn't want the game to be a cake walk so i can't blame them that they just did so much BS to make it harder however there are some parts they should've toned down overall in the game.

In the Village , everybody thinks it is how many enemies got killed before the bell got triggered, not one enemy has to be killed if it is used the most boring strategy in a Video game ever , going up the tower and jumping down for around seven minutes , if you don't take the shot gun not even the chainsaw Ganado gets triggert, or if you will you can fight 2 of them up to you. after the fight in the house you have 2 doors the right one is where El Gigante comes to play . Strategy here is let Ashley waiting right after entrance the room and trigger el gigante make him follow you and run to open all the doors (don't forget the key to open the last one walk thru and Ei Gigante disappears then you hav all the time to look for goodies. . for the chainsaw sisters well you enter the room shot the Ganados without shooting at the wagon with the barrels. then run the ladder up throw the ladder down run and jump into the pit stop the sequence and run up the ladder on the other side, wait a second and run to the side where the wagon stands jump down and run around the wagon hit he right wall and wait all the ganados and the evil sister are stuck behind this wagon and you can take them out on by one and then shoot on the barrels and give them the rest . collect your bounty and take all the goodies you can found. how is that playing my self. none of the strategies I described you used in your runs you Amateur.

IDK if it's a really obvious and popular strat but what I like to do is to not upgrade Broken Butterfly and keep selling and buying it back - it's very cheap this way and helps with these pig and cow dudes a lot (or when there's a lot of enemies all at once); plus I think it's funny cheesing the game this way since magnum ammo is SO expensive and rare - the cost is peanuts compared to the amount of money you have to spend on other weapons to get them as powerful as BB magnum.
