You can use 5w 30 oil for warmer climates. I have been using it since 2 nd service and its works great. In fact thicker oil provides good protection in hot climate.

Engine oil grade is recommended my the manufacturer as per the ambient or air temperature not engine temperature. Oils from 0W-20 to 5W-40 all work good for indian conditions. 0W-20 will be lighter oil and will give good protection and better fuel economy.

I have had my engine wagon r cng engine ruined coz of 0w20 engine oil. 2 summers back, it couldn't handle the bombay summer heat and lost its viscosity as well as some oil evaporated too. Have been using total 5w30 since then and have gotten highway mileage of 245 kms on full tank and city heavy traffic mileage of 170 kms full tank Stay away from Castrol as in india there is a high chance of getting a counterfeit castrol oil

How often do you change the Gear Oil , Clutch Cable, Flush Radiator, Spark Plugs, as I too have company fitted CNG Wagon R, but I dont change the gear oil until gears give trouble or clutch plate change. I just cleaned the radiator with flush but after my car completed almost 60000kms. although I use engine oil flush every time for oil change. How often is fuel filter change, spark plug and clutch cable required as I am very particular about the car performance.

Engine oil 3.1 Litres of 5W-40 for old engine + oil filter, Genuine Maruti Air filter, Cabin Ac filter, 2.2 liters of gear oil 80W-90, Fuel filter, Flush and replace brake fluid DOT 4, Flush and fill Power steering fluid, Flush and replace coolant with maruti genuine coolant - 1L coolant + distilled water only - No tap water and also replace any worn out parts as needed. Cost will be high but do it.

Just check your Owners manual for engine oil capacity. I think it uses 3.6 litres. Use any brand 5W-30 oil with filter change. 15000 KMs or 1 Year whichever comes first service interval if using fully synthetic oil. 10000 Kms for semi synthetic.

If the clutch it too tight or accelerator is too tight first replace both cables. If even after replacing the clutch cable the pedal is still tight, it might be worn clutch plates or bruised flywheel and flywheel bearing. Replace gear oil every 40000 miles to avoid transmission issues.

You have made minor problem inside your engine. Because after putting flush inside the engine you should not raise the rpm which the mechanic did while cleaning the throttle body . As you put engine flush the engine oil loses its viscosity as they can't handle high RPM causing wear and tear inside the bearing or the piston ring. You may not see any defects now but in future you will see the side effects

Not required bro. Engine oil is not vegetable oil. It does not go bad so easily. I know people who change oil every 3 years because they do not drive more than 3000 to 4000 Kms a year as have multiple cars. Only fix things that are broken or damaged. Any oil in a car will last a minimum of 10000 kms and an imported full synthetic oil can last upto 20000 kms or more. It's revenue for service centers. Don't fall into the trap. Only downside is you will loose warranty which you may never get anyways as service centers will make it your fault if engine fails to not honour the warranty. Please Like, SHARE and SUBSCRIBE.

Bro it is my friends car not mine and runs with Uber. I take it for personal household use if it is available and also get the issues fixed in return, that arise from time to time. Only use coolant never added any water.

For an old vehicle like yours it should be 5W-40 SN grade Fully Synthetic oil. It will give good protection to worn out internal engine parts, engine will be smoother and no heating issues.
