“I tried to keep this thing as reasonable and factory as possible” 🤣🤣🤣. Awesome build Jordon! Dream setup right there
@JordonMusser3 жыл бұрын
LOL ya. Sounds crazy, but I tried to keep thing as 'simple' as possible while still meeting the goals. So some areas of the car required complexity, but others didnt!

@@JordonMusser crazy build... the amount of work and effort and money to get it to look actually clean and a proper hyper car. You mentioned the LS3 dry sump... i know the ls7 has a dry sump but the LS3 as it comes in a camaro or corvette its dry sumped? Also how much would you approximate the build has costed in total from 0 to finish just in the neighborhood value... because i am trying to figure out if it would have been cheaper to get a 911 turbo or a turboed gallardo

I honestly like this build as much, if not more than the Singer stuff. I have a 930.. '85 model with a blown engine. Not sure what to do with it yet.. but LS7 TT is on my mind. Takes a bit of engineering to do it right in these cars. Nice work as always... giving me lots of ideas.

Thanks man! Half the fun is solving the problems during the process.

@@JordonMusser Absolutely. This is the engineering way! See a lot of cars slapped together with no consideration for stiffness, suspension, drivability. Something I feel Singer and others have addressed well. Your car is a great example of that. Not only that, but serviceability.. cause we know, things are going to break and/or need attention at some interval. Certainly requires a different approach to 'go fast' because with modern turbos and control systems.. making lots of HP/TQ is the ea$y part. 🤜

Really enjoyed the level of detail and integration through the whole car. Considering everything done, my only stipulations as a mechanic and racecar tech are the outdated radio and all the worm gear clamps on the underside. Great work!
@JordonMusser3 жыл бұрын
It's full of worm clamps no doubt. Radio is ++ unless I am missing something!

@@JordonMusser I feel like there are better looking GUIs available on some amdroid /apple car play based setups. That's all. I'm sure as far as technical specifications /hardware your radio is quite adequate

Not sure honestly. Louder than I want, but quiet enough you can have a normal conversation. Helps motor is in the back.

Well done that is more than perfect smart engineering job 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Jordon how can I contact you what do you think about the HellCat engine with 900HP of course planning to go higher and more HP will be fitted in the Cayman ?🤔 and what do you recommend I’m waiting for your advices please

The LS is a better platform. with aftermarket blocks there is basically no limit to the power level (2k+) So I would stick LS. you can DM on my instagram, /Jordon.Musser/ Best!

🤦🏼♂️ The question is why? Porsche made a perfectly balanced, best of class handling sports car. Now you’ve got a really expensive muscle car that will be worse at the track than the stock car.
@JordonMusser3 жыл бұрын
The cayman is pretty weak power wise. I actually didn't change the weight very much, and most of the added weight is very low. I have also added 50% more tire front and rear. The car even with out the power would slaughter a factory car on the track. It still handles phenomenally. Besides, you can always use more power until you can spin the tires from one corner to the next 🤓 I've never gotten out of a race car and been like "man, that is plenty of power".
