Sorry for the dumb question. It seems on the spec sheet from the blog, drive E\ is only 20GB, yet we're mounting an OS (for ConfigMangr) w/50-60GB VHD on \E, which won't fit. I feel like I'm missing something. Any help would be appreciated.

Nah it is a valid question. That is the physical storage where we saved ConfigMgr Virtual Machine on a host. The spec sheet in the blog you referring to shows the VHD(Virtual Hard Drive) storage within ConfigMgr Virtual Machine. Which I talked about in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/e6XQh6iPeNuca9k.

is it possible can u configure CAS in Forest A and cross forest implementation with Domain B as Primary site in this video series? there is no forest trust relation b/w two forest. Same SCCM Video series already watched with older version

Hi Muskan, Yes, I have more plans with this video series. It is similar video series, however, you will find the difference in the next video where we will configure dedicated drives for individual applications/tasks on ConfigMgr VM.

You don't need a trust to be open between the domains/forest, but you will need networking and DNS forwarding...etc. Just make sure the service accounts used for push and network access are available for both domains/forests within the correct server. CAS might have both domain accounts confogured, primary might just have Domain B.

Internal switches don’t offer Internet. Alternatively, you can use default switch along with the Internal switch.

Hi I am unable to ping from DC to Host even after creating ICMPv4 inbound rule but I can ping from Host to DC . I tried turning off firewalls in Host then the both machines are pinging. Does somebody has any solution to fix this?

Try rebooting your host. I am assuming you added inbound allow ICMPv4 on the host side as well.

Everything is going well except this ping thing. I have installed MECM successfully and moving forward from there. I tried every possible way to fix this, but no luck. It is pinging fine if I turn off the public firewall from the windows defender. but I don't want to compromise at this point. Any solutions for this highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Got the same problem, but after allowing ICMPv4 rule in both machine and restarting host machine came to know my ivp4 host ip is changed automatically that the reason i disabled it now wokring now and pinging from both machines.
