Coming along nicely now. When adjusting brake lever you must have a small gap between lever and M/C plunger. If M/C is not allowed to fully return the brakes can pump up with heat and cause them to stick on while riding. Thanks for the upload mate!

can just put a bit of packing (same width of brake disk) in between new pads, to bleed em. that way you can rotate calliper, so bleed valve is at top. the old style callipers aint to bad, but the newer style back brake, can be a bugger to bleed on bike.
@flanno94 жыл бұрын
the power valve housing is universal, in exhaust. (but is better if hole faces up, for checking if working). a handy hint, is to make sure you put downward pressure on housing as you do up the 2 bolts. and itl run smoother, and last longer between needing cleaning :)

Fantastic series of videos. I’ve just finished a complete rebuild on Tetsuya rep RS125. In no way a criticism but if you want to speed up bleeding the rear calliper, it’s a lot quicker if you don’t fix it to the bracket and hold it upside down, that way the air rises to the top, I had to do the same with my 748. Really enjoyed the vids though, great delivery and really slick production.

Great stuff! Just picked up 2009 RS125 myself. Interested in how you adjusted the chain slack after fitting a new chain roller. When I got my bike the chain was too tight so I loosened it. That just ate the rubber on the chain roller. Any tips on chain adjustment with the roller?
@letsreviewit89254 жыл бұрын
When you first fit a new roller the chain does eat into it a little but if it rolls freely it shouldn’t be too bad. I’ve just fitted a new roller which you’ll see in the next vid 😬

Another very helpful video thanks a lot! I’m currently on the forks changing the seals and oil and also fresh paint on the bottom like you also did. These videos are a god send for me do you have any footage of you doing the labour on some of the parts like polishing the frame and fitting your new sprockets etc? I’d love it if you had a playlist of the longer stuff that you think people might not want to see because I can see a lot of nice work you’ve done that hasn’t been mentioned, thanks again keep it up!!
