I've had a few questions from people who don't have a full set of polychromos about what colours to use. The best thing to do is use the closest colour you have - art has no rules so experiment and even if it comes out differently, at least you have tried the techniques!

By the way I am from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. My hubby's from Leeds and I just love visiting UK. Can't wait to go back. I love the accents. We Canadians have an accent too. Can you maybe tell me how you got started with coloured pencils. I have seen so many videos on the basics of coloured pencils, but it's getting the right colours and knowing how to use them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

That’s so interesting to know! I lived in leeds for 3 years for university 😁 it’s been a lot of trial and error for me getting the colours right, I can make a video on how I pick colours now if you like? I tend to use a program like photoshop and the eye dropper tool as it’s the most efficient way for me to get it spot on every time!

@@shannonmullin Thank you for your reply on this. I would really love a video on choosing colours and then perhaps include the sequence of how you would apply them. I have a colour picker app and it’s great but once I get them all chosen (often too many) I freeze. I know I have to lay down the lightest colour first, but as there are different tones, I find it difficult to know which colour to lay done next. Thank you for reading this. I so appreciate it.
