Glad that helped! You should really consider picking up the War Cry skill in the warfare tree, it's great for melee as it confuses every creature around you in a big radius, so it's great when you stumble upon a gang on the plains or open a door with too many mobs, one shout to confuse them all and you get enough time to run or to pick them one by one while they lose turns wandering around.
