*TL of the original uploader's thoughts on this MV:* The overall inspiration here was Sisyphus, the man who pushes a boulder for eternity, striving towards an impossible ideal, repeating unyielding efforts, and carrying a heavy burden. The visuals and story are composed with strong colour contrasts and a gritty atmosphere, but like in Greek mythology, there's also a more fantastical and divine element too. It all started because Zoya, who knew the darkness of Syndicate well, wanted to destroy this incompetent and corrupt city. Zoya was a fighter pushed to the altar, becoming deified. She is the path-breaker because she has an unshakeable heart. Only she can be the unbreakable anchor for her followers. She is their lighthouse, their beacon. Her exalted figure is akin to the statues you see in a temple, with a benevolent expression and downcast eyes. Like the Tower of Babel built by zealots, both the delusions and ideals of countless people are cast upon her. Even though she knows she does not have to be the one shouldering all this weight, she refuses to give up. And so, everyone's expectations of her were arrogant, Zoya wanting to change the Syndicate alone was arrogant, the battle for power between Chief and Zoya was arrogant. But in the end, those who desire to control power will be swallowed by it as recompense for their arrogance. Like God who who rained divine punishment on the arrogant humans that built Babel, so must she bear their arrogance and keep on fighting, never surrendering. For eternity, a tireless statue, a symbol, a martyr.
