When traveling it is even better to drive slowly as you look at the landscape on both sides . So I think it is okay that Rwanda has strict traffic laws, for everybody's sake. Kudos to Rwandese leadership it has set the standards for other countries to emulate.

Wow Rwanda is really developing fast. I've just uploaded a video from my visit a couple years back to a distribution center for medical supplies using drones, in Muhanga. Kenya (with the huge head start we've had for _decades_ and our amazing human capital) would be soo far without corruption. Some government people there in Rwanda told me that they believe there's *zero* corruption. They also have really young people in government, like the Kibakis and Mboyas of the Kenyan government in the 60s.

Fuel in Rwanda is expensive because it is a landlocked country and sources it's fuel through port cities like Mombasa, likewise in other landlocked countries like Zambia and Zimbabwe fuel is also expensive, so if fuel is expensive expect life in such countries to be also a bit expensive.

You guys said there is language barrier in Rwanda! I think you who are visiting Rwanda have the language barrier because the Kinyarwanda is spoken every where in the country don't expect people to speak English or Swahiri. Don't behave like you are not Africans. You need to try to learn a few words for communication purpose with the locals. There dome Rwandans who speaks English as well as French and Swahili too. Before you decide to go anywhere try to learn few basic words in that particular place you're visiting so that you don't encounter any issues as far as language is concerned. You need to challenge yourselves and do it instead of judging people. English is for the British while Kinyarwanda is for Rwandans.
@stansiyomana1239
@stansiyomana1239 2 жыл бұрын
Me too I am surprised to hear that there is a such big language barrier: Rwandan system of education is in English. Even the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM Rwanda2022) was held in Kigali from 24 to 25 June 2022. I am Burundian and I have never been in Rwanda (except on transit through Kigali airport), but I don't see how Rwandese government would allow somebody to have a pharmacy if he cannot speak English. I would expect to find some people involved in commerce who understand Swahili language (in Rwanda and Burundi).
@picsandvidstv1348
@picsandvidstv1348 2 жыл бұрын
Lol! I really thought you have made a point but nope! As much as you despise English for being a non- Rwandese language, just know that it is a worldwide language and not just for British nor Americans! Everyone speaking it doesn’t have to be from those places! It is a basic language especially for communication! And if not English, why not Swahili? It’s an East African language isn’t it? You guys can’t be going around advertising your country for tourists but still be too selfish not to learn some basic, common language that is spoken by almost everyone! Duuuh!

Why not use Google translate for communication? It has kinyarwanda. Also I noticed when using rwanda air, when the hostess did the kinyarwanda part, I could understand some words so if you speak fluent Swahili they might also be able to pick up some words. Google translate is better though

@@LIVKENYA Some times I am tempted to say that you travel in style in your own car, but I know that it is very stressful to drive in a foreign hilly country and on the right side of the road (that you are not used to). Also I think it is a good idea that you travel as a group of 3 or 4 ladies, it is safer (but also maybe more expensive). I like the way you book your lodging well in advance. I am waiting to see what you say about my homeland Burundi (if you decide to go there). Please keep up the good work and be safe (try not to eat certain starchy foods like potatoes, rice, you might sleep on the wheel).
