Part 9: Dawson City, Chicken, and Fairbanks

We travel from Whitehorse up the Yukon Highway to Dawson City, then over the Top of the World Highway to Chicken, Alaska, and then to Fairbanks - with a stop at Chena Hot Springs.

Just catching up on the episodes, sort of binge watching. Only took me moths to remember how this newfangled KZbin stuff works! Now I have to wait for more episodes? Or do I just not know where/how to look? Fast forward to where Karen arranges an unfortunate wildlife encounter for Tom! "Just wear this pork chop around your neck, honey." No, the sign is warning the bears about you. It'll be fine!"

Any problem with the van, I watched some other post said "every trip, he had 1 tire damage". Wait for my van, will make same trip from Florida, likley next year.

We haven’t had any trouble. Some of the roads are definitely rough and could cause tire problems, but if you take it slow, that makes a huge difference.
