I think she could sing for Melody, and they’ve already shown that it doesn’t matter what they look like… no I can’t, she wouldn’t look like them, she’s suppose to be the biological daughter, if they make her Melody they would have to adopt and the whole “I wanna be a mermaid” part really wouldn’t make a lick of sense because there not a deep core instinct go back to the ocean, nor would it make sense when she’s able to understand Sebastian and other fish 😭 Voice over, I can get behind that!

@@kokomi6172 they would have to create an entirely new background explaining where she came from and how she has mermaid turned human traits. Not only that but it would take the story on a completely different path, and at that point they should just make it a different spin off. The Little Mermaid II was a bit cringe (it was a straight to VHS/DVD) and they gave Ariel a giraffe neck in some scenes but it was still a good movie for what it was

(Jodi Benson). Her interviews and performance of this song gave that same beautiful expression to bring Hans Christian Andersen’s story to life. You’re very talented, going in the right direction.
