Sissel really sounds different in the three versions, but here is really good. One of the bests Ariel, one of the bests Norwegian voices
@chriskdisney3 жыл бұрын
Hm, even though that's her native version, I kinda feel she's holding back for some reason, like she didn't give her 100%. My favourite version of Sissel will always be Danish, where she's so strong and bold. Swedish version is also wonderful.

Knowing that Sissel Kyrkjebø sang the Danish, Norwegian and Swedish songs is just beautiful. She has such a stunning voice. Also just noticed a few minutes ago, that the Italian singer sounds very similar to Sissel. ❤

"Og hva er prisen for å bli fri" Personally, this line will always be the most memorable line among versions available. I am soooooooooo glad that 2023 version really does justice to the line!
@FlamSparks Жыл бұрын
Yeah, that's a very good line, and in general, I like how the Norwegian lyrics are less brattish than the English (and thus most other) lyrics. That "but who care, no big deal, I want more" turned "is it wrong if I’m so wishing for more?"

I really like Sissel in every single version, but my love for her Danish '89 version can't be expressed with words, it's my ultimate favourite version 🥰 Will you do this with the Danish '89 version? ♥️

I know that's danish in origin but some say thats greek in madateraeean sea. Sorry my spelling.
@chubbybunny69753 жыл бұрын
The original fairytale was Danish, because it was written by a Danish author, Hans Christian Andersen. But when Disney made the movie over 100 years after the fairytale was written, they placed it in the Mediterranean sea, somewhere near Greece. So technically, if a version of the fairytale was made that followed the original story exactly, then the native language would be Danish. But the Disney version takes place near Greece, therefore the native language would be Greek.

The lyrics are written in bokmål, but Sissel is not using Oslo dialect, which is commonly used in dubbing, but her native Bergen dialect

@FlamSparks3 жыл бұрын
Hahaha oui, t'as quasi raison : Sissel est de Bergen, où l'on a....un drôle d'accent, et dans la version norvégienne, on a décidé de la laisser chanter dans son accent, pas dans cel d'Oslo, comme on fait d'habitude
