​@@user-rp3wc2tr8y well while communism Ukraine had no land to fight over, it was all controlled by Moscow therefore your argument makes no sense. Modern day Ukraine is so much better, all that development without communism went downhill after Russia invaded therefore it's not Ukraine's mistake.

​​​@@mikev9Let's be real, other than in Kiev and maybe Lvov there was no development, Ukraine became a third world shithole and the second poorest European country already before the war. I've seen footage, and babushkas were living in decayed old hovels, streets weren't even tarred in many places, people were still driving old Soviet era cars like Ladas, probably because nobody could afford anything newer. Ukraine is not Kiev. And even Kiev can be criticised. Soon after the fall of the USSR they planned to extend the metro (built by Moscow), yet decades later they did nothing except steal the budget set aside for it. And now due to neglect there is a chance the metro may not work soon.
