Very_cool_guy sexual abuse allegations that may hold some truth based on David’s responses. The whole label pretty much went to hell within the last few weeks. Pretty sad. Not sure how to feel honestly. Kind of hard separate the artist from the art in this situation.

I discovered this album in late March of 2020, the beginning of quarantine for me. Those first few months were the best times of my life for so many reasons. When listening to this album, I always look back on how different and simple things were compare to today. Since last summer, I've barely talked to any of my friends. I'm 16 now, and I've been taking important life steps already. Spell #6 marks the last remaining moments of my childhood and innocence. This album will always be with me until I die. Also, I'm proud to say this was the first album I've ever bought on vinyl.

@@cas9495 haha that’s crazy. Unfortunately, I bought it last April, so it was months before the BR scandal. Discogs and eBay are where I got most of PT’s records. Every now and then you’ll find a decently priced copy. Wish you luck

Friend, you have if I may say… EXCELLENT taste in REAL artistry! Not slot of the auto tuned the fuck out garbage on the radio. Ariel and his music have breathed new energy into my life. And that’s RIGHT ON, never left anyone else or the rumor mill decide for you if this or that artist is worth supporting or NOT! I don’t play those caddy self serving games that stupid, snooty classless people want to play: “Oh this persons music sucks now cause so and so said so. Or better yet I’m too blind to separate the art from the flawed human. No one’s 💩 ever cuts the mustard so if you hear someone putting down Ariel/his projects or any other gifted musician. Test drive it yourself or go shut the fuck up and sit down somewhere and let us REAL ADULTS handle , appreciate, applaud, support what the fuck COUNTS. In 1977, I was 22 years old. I saw the Punk Movement, followed by New Wave and everything that came after. I definitely saw the concerts, The Scene and I was so much a part of it. I met more bands and recording artists than you'd dream about- and I have their music, on LP and 12" single formats, signed and professionally framed. Also, A LOT of signed CD's. It's great to still be alive! When I hear this music, I hear echoes of China Crisis, The Dream Academy, Japan, Metro, Pet Shop Boys, Lou Reed, The Wake. What I don't hear, that others mention, is anything like The Human League, Joy Division, Simple Minds, The Smiths. Maybe it's because I was there, when they were absolutely new, and their 7", 12' singles and vinyl albums were only available as UK imports at the better record stores. Anyhow, I love what David Loca is doing, today. Bravo! More, please!

I am just getting into this band and was so sad to read what happened... It is super sad when talented people go off the rails and do things that are detrimental to themselves and others. Let's hope he and the abuse victims can talk this one out in therapy.... The music is sublime, let's hope its owner learns a different life pathway... 💯💗

Part time is just one of my favorite bands, I can't say how many times I've heard this album, it makes me feel happy and nostalgic. Also im kinda upset bc this is so underrated :/
