I'm legally blind, but I've noticed that I receive less than most a month in benefits. Is there any way to increase that amount? I'm also afraid to lose benefits due to the fact that I've started working again, I would like to keep benefits to live abroad for half of the year.

I understand your concerns. To potentially increase your Social Security benefits, consider requesting a benefit review or checking if Supplemental Security Income (SSI) applies to you. As for working, Social Security’s Trial Work Period allows you to work without immediate loss of benefits.
