Wow! The silhouettes are so subtly different under the skirts, but I really love the 2nd one. How differently do they wear on an actual person and what is sitting in these like??

Thanks for your comment!! They are definitely more for walking than for sitting! I made the mistake of sitting back in a chair (forgetting I was wearing one because it's so comfortable), and squashed it a bit. But it was very easily reshaped, so no major deal. If you're going to sit, elegant perching is most definitely advised!! 😂 As to the fit, as long as it's tied securely over the corset, there's no shifting - rather like over the body form.
