2:55 This is the symbol from the manga witch the anime originally changed. That symbol is in fact not what your thinking and is based on the manji. (which is a Hindu and Buddhist symbol that promotes peace, luck, prosperity and hope) The reason the anime changed it to a cross was to avoid confused and anger as the symbol is often associated with N@zism outside of Asia. If I got anything wrong feel free to correct me in the reply this is just what I remember off of my memory and some quick research

I know what you mean when I first saw that the swastika was the curse mark on neji I was surprised as well because the one on neji's head is different than the one hitler used the one neji has is actually a couple thousands years old and it's also seen in a bunch of religions and in Hindu I think it meant freedom or something similar

One thing about Sasuke i dont get is why the kids of the academy loved him if their parents didn't like Uchiha's, in the early stages we never saw any of the village even look at Sasuke in a weird way, but in the later series its said he was discriminated against. I think he knew what Naruto went through, but Naruto had discrimination on a larger scale
