My opinion: If they hide the friendship between them it makes people seem to agree that they have a special relationship. If they don't have special relationship just show friendship interaction like their interaction with another group...like Gfriend x Seventeen or x Astro...They can make any good moment without awkward

For me, It is because of the Fans. Unlike Svt and Astro their fans are very friendly and they dont mind being friend with GGs and thats why they can interact freely and both fandoms are very supportive to the friendship of Astroxgfriendxsvt unlike BTS "some" (some armies are really scary when it comes to their oppas) armies are really obsessed to bts and when they find interaction with gfriend with their oppas they easily throw hate and bashed gfriend so in order to prevent it they hide their friendship. Ps. im an Army too and I do find some armies really bashed and hate gfriend bcos of this like the shipping things
