Yes same engine. Mine appears to have been a replacement at some point. It runs but needs a lot of TLC. Worn rings and a pretty rough cooling system due to neglect.

did it stop smoking? especially under load? its not normal for diesel engines to smoke after a while from a rebuild. love to hear from you how its going now

Remove the injectors and easy to turn no more compression and i had a mechanic run the valves with the engine running hard to do but more accurate thanks
