As an alternative to making a special stamina potion to swim to the seashell island you can just levitate while holding the building hammer. So long as you don't sprint first you can glide for a long time while holding the hammer.

You can craft the armour and wepons with diff materials than gold, I did my trident with ambrosia. You can also change the look of it in the same menu. My trident and armour is all purple and I did the velvet cloak.

I done it with no pots, i just jumped out the water and when re-entering you get a good regain of stamina before it stops. Just dont go empty
